Over the years, I have noticed that the same issues come up again and again. Below is a list of the most common computer-related problems and questions people need help with.

• Printer problems are still number one. Printers remain one of the most common sources of frustration. The printer may stop printing, disappear from the network, show streaks or faded lines on the page, or simply refuse to work after being replaced with a new model. Sometimes it needs to be connected by USB, and other times it needs to be set up properly over Wi-Fi or a wired network. Even when everything worked fine before, installing a new printer can quickly turn into a headache. I can help diagnose the problem, connect the printer correctly, install drivers, and make sure everything works the way it should.

• Home office setup and remote work support. In the post-COVID world, many employers continue to let their staff work from home. This is often beneficial for both sides. Employers save money on office space and utilities, while employees save time and money on commuting. But a comfortable home office does not build itself. In many cases, office equipment moves into the home: a computer or laptop, two monitors, a docking station, a webcam, a headset, and a bundle of cables connecting everything together. Maybe you need a video card upgrade, more memory, a faster SSD, a processor replacement, or general troubleshooting. • Software problems and data transfer. Not every problem is caused by hardware. Sometimes the issue is in the software: viruses or malware, corrupted settings, driver conflicts, startup errors, slow performance, or programs that suddenly stop working. You may need to transfer your files from one computer to another, reinstall Windows, recover access to important documents, or fix an application that no longer runs correctly. I also help with software troubleshooting, operating system installation, basic cleanup, data migration, and related support.
