The tester offers robust functionality. It lets you connect directly to an analog camera—regardless of format (CVBS, AHD, HD-TVI, or HD-CVI)—and verify operation without removing the device from the wall, ceiling, pole, or wherever it’s installed.
Beyond analog, the tester works with IP cameras. It can quickly scan the local network, list discovered devices, and flag IP address conflicts. A built-in DHCP server helps bring up cameras configured for automatic addressing. After connecting to a camera, you can view the image right on the tester, which makes post-install alignment faster and easier.
The unit includes a built-in 12 VDC output to power analog cameras directly. For IP cameras, you can provide power using the integrated PoE function.
It can also serve as a field monitor, with HDMI and VGA inputs on board.
Additional tools include network diagnostics, cable length measurement, and more.
